At SolarDome, we think all houses should be indestructible. These Domes provide very spacious open plan living, available in single storey or double storey from 1 to 5 bedrooms, and are available up to 40% cheaper than a similar traditional size house. They are easy to erect, merely by following a simple easy to follow guide, to assemble the panels/modules, in their designated location.

At SolarDome, our designed Domes can withstand Cyclones, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Earthquakes, Bushfires and Snow storms.

There are other benefits as well:

  • Lower construction costs – The construction of a SolarDome house/dome is usually significantly less than similarly sized and outfitted buildings of another type.
  • Lower ongoing fees for energy use – Because of the Domes superior insulation, a SolarDome, Dome’s use a minimum of energy to maintain a comfortably warm or cool interior.
  • Lower maintenance and upkeep costs – Both the interior and exterior of the Dome shell require little care and maintenance.
  • Design flexibility – A SolarDome, Dome can be as large or small as you want. It can include multipurpose rooms, and they can be used as a Church, Gymnasium, Community Hall, School or a Theatre.
  • Solar power is an option on all our Domes, either Grid Tied or Off Grid systems are available.
